Red Beach
Red Beach is a volcanic sand beach on the south coast of Santorini. The beach is famed for its titular red-hued sand. The beach's sand is composed of black and red pulverized volcanic rock from the nearby Santorini caldera. As the area is prone to landslides, the best way to visit the Red Beach is by boat.
White Beach
White Beach, is a stretch of black pebbles enclosed by giant cliffs made up of beautiful white and pastel colors. The waters here are crystal clear. Due to it’s secluded location, this is a fairly quiet beach with less people than the more popular Red Beach nearby. The bright white rock formations and blue waters make it one of the most beautiful beaches on Santorini. Moreover the White beach is only accessible by boat.
Black Mountain
The breathtaking Black mountain is massive dark colored magma rock, full of natural caves. Combining this with turquoise waters, compose a dramatic scenery you will never forget. This is also the best water area for scuba diving. The Black Mountain is also accessible only from the sea.
Light House
The Akrotiri Lighthouse is among the oldest lighthouses in Greece and was constructed way back in 1892. It stands like a sentinel towards the on the southern peninsula of Santorini island. The Akrotiri Lighthouse was built by a renowned French trading company in the year 1892. The peripheral area surrounding the lighthouse is replete with vestiges of the Minoan period which is regarded by many scholars as the high water mark of the Aegean culture and civilization.
Caldera
While sailing inside the caldera of Santorini, you sail above one of the biggest and historical volcanoes of the earth. Take a look at that five volcanic islands end islets (Aspronisi, Thirasia, Palaia Kameni, Nea kameni, Santorini ). Admire the landscape and take pictures of the vertically built settlements and villages.
Hot Springs
As you sail between the two volcanic islets Palaia Kameni end Nea Kameni you will have the chance to swim at the Hot Springs. From inside two small bays warm water gushes full of sulfur and iron oxide. An experience you should not miss.
